Hello folks. I picked up this little guy in a small lot of cloth and don't know WHAT it is, or even if it's German. It appears to be totally hand done, and "looks" sort of like three swords piercing a wreath of sorts. It's done w/ cotton thread on a grey-green wool shield...(looks blue in the photos, but it's green). Any ideas anyone? Thanks in advance for any help.

The wool color and the shape of the shield makes me think Italian...
but on the other hand Italian sleeve shields are usually stamped metal...
to include text...lacking here... Don't recognize it...Sorry but probably not German I feel... -
