More details, the differences could just be from different manufacturers but if the stamps are KM than they may be something else made from Olana etc. The clothing made in 1944-45 is really poorly known and I suspect there is a lot of variation in all items. Nice trousers regardless.

Thanks guys, this is really becoming interesting. Please keep it up. I'm sure we'll get to the bottom of this and figure out the mystery soon enough.

As a side note, this pair of trousers never had waist adjustment slides or suspender straps, and the only markings still visible are those shown.

Now I'm getting confused as well...

I do know that especially with KM trousers many variations exist (both with internal belt or adjusting straps) but IMO most of the times have the watch pocket sewn on, thus not inside like on this pair. Rear pockets on both LW or KM with or without buttoned flap are possible.

The model, color, and execution on this particular pair is totally NOT Heer IMO and I do believe the LW trousers could have buttoned side pockets like this one. I still vote LW in stead of KM also due to the markings (but open to be convinced otherwise).

Hi,here are some pics of early LW tropical straight leg trousers, they have LBA 40 stamp. As you can see, some details in construction are different. For me the trousers started this tread are more Heer or KM than the LW tropical, just IMO of course.

Thank you for posting these LW tropical trousers, they display all the characteristics of Luftwaffe manufacture. Also thanks to Johnny for his late-war Heer tropical trousers, which have the typical single pocket in the back and the lack of buttons on the front pockets. I still lean towards KM.

                          I vote for KM also.

Just curious as to where the placement of the markings are?

So the stamps are right where KM stamps normally/often are on Tropical clothing, maybe a late War version of the tropical trousers with some manufacturing differences on the watch pocket etc. Too bad the maker is not legible.

That pretty much seals the deal for me as being KM.
