    Unterofficier Tunic Panzer private made.

    Hello,

Just a opinion for originality for a guy who wants to buy it.
I know that the shoulderboards aren't panzer and the eagle is later stitched.

Looks original, but I suspect all the insignia to include the tabs have been re-applied, so the price shoudl reflect that.

those embroidered eagles with brown backing never made it into uniforms. only the ones with green backing

I think Gerritsen, in hes first post, means the eagle is replaced aswell as the boards..
Any chance to see a picture of under the collar..?

I can see the stitch pattern from an earlier eagle with a larger outline around the edges of the one on there now. It probably was a flatwire like the type used on Waffenrocks.

Johnny is right about the outline of a different eagle. Its hard to say about the other insignia with out some additional shots but a nice private purchase/tailored tunic for sure. I love these type of tunics. Matt

Don is correct and the price should reflect the restoration! If had at a decent price? I would replace the eagle as mentioned with the flatwire type and enjoy.

The eagle is clearly reapplied, anyway all is original.
