What was the early eagle on M36 tunics

Was the first M36 tunic breast eagle on a wool backing? I thought it was BEVO.
    Can someone help.

Not on wool, early eagles were woven (BEVO), white on grey.

This is a very good book on tunics and their insignia. There are others also but this is a "text book" for this area of study.

              panzer collar tab

              I have another question.
I was just given a panzer collar tab, black with pink piping and skull in the center.I was told by a few that it was in fact real and early war.
I was wondering what it would be worth on the market.
The condition is mint.I can find no wear on it.
A girl I was dating gave it to me because she wanted nothing to do with Nazi Items(her words).

                Greetings All,

Please take a picture of the front and back and post it on here. If you are not an associate member you will need to use a photo host.

I also recommend John Angola's 3 volume series "UNIFORMS AND TRADTIONS OF THE GERMAN ARMY" Pricey but well worth the money.

                    Greetings All,

I would post this as a seperate topic for more exposure. I am not that familiar with panzer insignia but there are quite a few here on the forum that are.

Unlike several others of this type (basket weave piping) that have been posted on the Forum lately, this Pz. tab looks to be a good one.
