They cannot show the eagle or indicate they altered photos etc. or Ebay will pull it. The base tunic looks nice, love the B44 stamps. The LW/RH tresse is a little odd but it looks nice.
This is a prime candidate for someone to report, Ebay will close it down, and then the person that reported it will try to buy it for dimes on the dollar.

Ding! ding! We have a winner!
I hope that doesn't happen .....
The tunic in question is mine ...
Here are some photos of the breast eagle .
BTW it's been a while since I've been active on the forum , but I still lurk in the shadows ....
Also pardon the way it's sitting on the torso the damn torso form is like a gas tank ...

The reporting items tactic is something used by people (including forum members) and it is really sad. I have stopped selling on Ebay for that reason. I listed a DD LW helmet without an image of the eagle and it was reported no less than 3 times and each time I got an email from the same person saying he was really sorry about Ebay pulling it but he would give me a fair price etc. and then offered me about 10% of market value. They do this on Craig's list as well. Hopefully Ebay figured it out. It used to happen to almost every uniform and nice item that was listed.

Interesting that the tunic was not at first offered here on the e stand but rather on ebay ( with the in my opinion Predatory fees incurred by the prospective seller from both electronicbayhost ccompany and their sister company paymorei'mnotyourbuddy). Why a seller would not prefer to sell it on the forum outright, amongst educated members.
There seemed to be a theatrical hollywood-ish quality in the way the tunic was introduced, authenticated by 2 members, claimed of ownership by another, and most of all marketed off, and bumped up. "Will the Good Collector seal of approval come with my battle worn original souvenir as well?...Oh please please...."
Gentlemen, gentlemen.
I thought there was a rule or agreement about discussing current listings on ebay.
As for the tunic itself, it does not give me the worm and fuzzy feel of a war time tunic. Or rather the warm and scratchy feel of a war time tunic. It is in my humble opinion a Turkey dinner putogether with all the trimmings: Litzen, late war tabs with early bird on felt backing, subdued late litzen on tongues, a minestrone on soft smooth wool. Good luck. And sorry to be so snake-ish. Moon is in Taurus.

Nothing sinister about me listing it on ebay . I have not
been a paying member here in a few years so raher than
compeat with a hundred listings on here I figured I'd list
On ebay ..
Also as far the original posting of this thread I can assure
you I had nothing to do with it . I figured if these guys
Wanted to see more photos of the breast eagle I would
ablige and provde them .
I have nothing to hide and I have been a member here
since 2002 . I have delt with many of the forum members
here , but to answer your question further more the only
one I know on this paticular thread is Glenn M . And he only
asked to see some photos of the breast eagle ...
So there you have it as stated no clandestine or sinister
motives . Only trying to pay the bills and buy Christmas
stuff fo my family which by the way includes my new 3
month old Grandson ....Last edited by Johnny S; 11-23-2012, 03:48 PM.
