The cloth and 'too thin a coat. I do not see that utilities' could have this coat in cold weather. Hello.

Great Coat

Excellent example! I find it interesting that the cotton liner, the same weave and thickness used in the making of early overseas caps, has that fuzzy look to it, which I believe a few cap collectors do not like.
Very nice coat and a great size!

Those early overcoats ( M36, M40 ) were designed for use in temperate climate of Central Europe so it was enought thick for autumn/winter climate of Central ( Germany, Austria, Czechsolovakia and Poland ) and West Europe ( Danemark, Belgium, Holland, France) but not the best for East ( USSR - todays Ukraine, Belarus, Russia ) North Europe ( Norway , Finland ).

Very interesting. Known thickness of the fabric for coats German? Was the same as feldbluse? Basically for coats used the same fabric of felbluse?
