I am still convinced it's an original second pattern but of course it's just my opinion from the pictures posted here.

I was the owner of this wrap a few week and then gave it back to the dialer. I am still thinking it was the right decission.
That little voice in the back of your head most often proves right is my experience...

Still; although the verdict was pretty much done as I understand, some difference of opinion obviously still remains. Therefore at least better, sharp and daylight pictures are required IMO, in order to make at least the initiator of this thread certain beyond a reasonable doubt.

(And even perhaps to prevent this creation from popping up again in the future when indeed it is considered bad as such..)

well at least the skulls are original - and those tombak skulls are really seldom. The piping of the tabs looks strange - you can see this in the other threads. I would not consider them original - the collar piping is of the same material

the jacket was well done as far as I remember - but it showed nearly no use and age. The name tag was not convincing. Nobody did know a Uffz Lorch - and I asked a lot of PzRgt 1 veterans - most of them are dead now.

The stamp is also strange. Why should Lago München delivers clothes to Berlin?

And all Lago München stamps I know looks that way:

Thanks for all the feed-back and particularly the threads going back to 2007. The fact a dodgy name tag has been added during the past 5 years just adds to the more major concerns.

Given the doubts, I won't be pursuing this jacket as I need to be really confident about it.

              Mike,
I'm sure that you're disappointed but better to find out now than later. It would be interesting to know where Gary got this one.

i bought this wrap by H. Weitze and gave it back to him. I noticed several years later that the wrap was still in his possesion (shop) but not listed in in his online shop.
