I have started collecting heer recon items and I am looking at a single board on www.militaryantiquestoronto.com site.

It is piped for motorcycle reconaissance but the number is not one I have seen before. Any thoughts you might have on this would be appreciated.

If it is real it may be an early board for a Field waterways detachment. The "W" is listed as that with black piping. Bau wore this light brown until I think 1943. It might be related to Bau and the "W" was used for waterway construction units. Just a guess.

No not Heer recon for sure. Some type of Bau board. Nice one, I have an em and nco for #2.

I think it may be for Feldwasserstraßenabteilung 2. These units maintained and cleared waterways, it is reported that these units had black piping but maybe earlier it was associated with Bau units.
