Could I get some opinions on these please

Agree with besslein!

However, if removed from a tunic and there is some thread left - I would say if the remaining thread is Feldgrau it most likely came off a WSS tunic.

My Main concern was with the sort of thin tresse. I do not remember seeing it before, maybe it was never used on collars.

Here is another one that was with it. This one I like more and the tresse is like the subdued type used on collars.

My vote is SS, but really hard to say for sure.

I have more concerns with the second one...don't like the tresse to be sewn over eachother at the tip of the V, excess tresse over the wool top and it not being horizontal finished/cut.

I bought both of them for 20 US or so, if only one is original no worries. If one if real, I suspect they both are real. Thanks,
