Sometimes controversial, but always entertaining and willing to share knowledge. Our hobby was much improved by his participation. Glad I got to meet him once, and sorry I never got around to sending him that darn photo he wanted...

    God bless,

    Tom

If it was the Richard with the Yosemite Sam avatar, then it was "Richard P". A small correction, but it does provide you with his posts if you search via member name. It is a sad loss as he contributed quite a bit in the Police Forum with his knowledge of Police panzer uniforms. My condolences to his family.

Unbelievable. I have realized that he had'nt routinely been on the forum and kinda' suspected something was not right.

Such a great person. I was pleased to have known him by correspondence and always gratful for his help and comments.

Respect and condolences to him and his family.

Well said Tom. Had interesting discussions with Richard, many of them found us on opposite sides, but he was a gentleman though out each and every one.

            RIP Richard.

I really liked his sence of humor. Smart and a really cool guy. Honestly, I was saddened when he was suspended and hoped he will be back some day. He was one of the best here.
                What a loss!

now i know why he didn't reply to my last message where we talked about SS wrap, bet.ra. stamps... our usual discussion.

Even though I did not know him personally, this is really sad news. RIP.

Hopefully his family won't be annoyed by ''treasure hunters''.

Very sad news, very sad indeed. I'd communicated with Richard a number of times and as others have said, he was very helpful and generous with his time.

I will miss him. My condolences to his family.

                      Thank you,
