Wonderful board. These have been pictured a few other times on the WAF. The embroidery is the map symbol for an artillery piece. It has been listed here on the WAF as "Cannon without a special caliber"

Great boards ....the construction of mine is like the top two photos and the one above....not embroidered like the KW type....but made from soutache material just heavily worn on the top and lost it’s outer coat of threads so to speak.
