Veterans Armband

Have this armband in my collection for a while...
It is a machine woven insignia on navy blue (or dark).
Any opinions?

The patch is imo not original to the armband(post war sewn)

Well, it seems the patch and armband did not start life together, but were joined later (after the war) ;-)

my analysis:

Original armband of the DRKB "Kyffhauserbund", later it became the NSRKB and the new design NSRKB patch was sewn onto the armband and perhaps even ontop the DRKB patch, so the original DRKB patch might even be underneath it!(That's how it looks) Does it have two patches? If so leave it this way, a nice example of the design/name switch.

Yes, looks like there is another patch sewn on the original one… I feel such a fool ‘cause didn’t notice it before. And I have this armband almost a year! Man, perhaps I’m blind…
Now I’m curious to see the patch underneath it… But I’ll leave it this way, don’t want to change the piece…
