        Those are not common are they Fred?
        I don't recall seeing many of them over the years.

            That is a nice early eagle indeed, the head shape and small size is usually indicative of early eagles.

              The early embroidered birds are available, you just have to look a little bit. That or know guys like Fred who hoard them Great Schutzen tunics though Matt

                Many thanks for posting the picture. It's always great to see variant eagles in period pics. And funnily enough, such photos can be hard to track down, just like the eagles they show. Thanks again, and have a great weekend.
