I would agree but probably an Infantry assault.

Wow! Good looking and very rare tunic!

By the look of the things, he must have been enlisted prior to commissioning as a second lieutenant? I would love to see his service history.

          Again, great tunic!

Wow, if you ever move this you will be chasing us off with a club LOL, I will bet your PM box is blowing up with offers!

Right on with the Bronze IAB, and as Jacques advised, do research his deployment history for a ribbon bar to match and perhaps you can also find which grade of CCC he wore? are there any signs of EKII or Ost ribbons having been sewn in the button hole previously? Please do keep this thread updated and show us how it turns out on display!

            Congrats!

I would like to complete the tunic with the right badges. What badges I have to attach?
Above I think there must be a CCC and what else?
Middle: EK1, Wound badge and General assault badge?
On the breast pocket would be Iron Cross I Class (top centre), Infantry Assault Badge in Bronze (bottom left) and a wound badge of any colour (bottom centre). If you use this combo then try to get a ribbon bar with Iron Cross Second class, Eastern Front medal, maybe a 4 year long service and a Westwall or somethig else....just my two cents.

Regarding the tunic - looks great! Definately a keeper.

                Cheers

                  Hi Kevin,

I will keep this thread updated! But first I will go in holiday two weeks.
I have got no pm´s if I would sell this tunic. I think economy is bad at time and it´s also holiday time. Most collectors are out of money in the moment....

So you got an extra set of Stalingrad crosses loose with the tunic?

Looks great, the tunic is later War also and is a great fit to the insignia.

hi! yes this pair I showed here some days ago to know if good or not. I have bought them from a collector friend before I have got this tunic. Now I have the tunic and the two other crosses....It was great luck that I have got this tunic and I am very happy about this catch
