Interesting variation of continental em's litzen on tan backing, probably for sud front tunic rather than tropical.

Regret to say that I do not like these. In my 30 plus years I have not seen anything like this before and that is normally a bad sign. One would think if they were late war they would have the late war style collar litzen not the pattern that was discontinued in 1940 not that the Germans did not have plenty of these laying around as evidenced by the amount on the collector market today. Not sure the tabs were in the same place as the tunics by the end of the war so they made not have been able to use what was made. It is sad that you rarely see the late tabs offered any more as the majority of stripped tunics need those type of tabs. The Germans also use some elaborate stitches on the backs of the earlier tabs that these also lack. I would run from these.

Nice tabs, but I would never use this to restore a tropical tunic.
I would rather wait for the real tropical type.
