I would sincerely appreciate any information I can get on this patch. I'm not sure if it is related to the the Third Reich. It is a well-made patch that came with a bunch of Third Reich items. It measures about 3 1/2" high. Thanks.

Based on the "A D" + wheat stock it's certainly an "Arbeits Dienst" (=RAD) related sleeve shield
and probably from a foreign country branch. Danish ?
Not Flemish...they called it "V.A.V.V." (Vrijwillige Arbeidsdienst voor Vlaanderen')
The Norwegians called it 'A.T.' = "Arbeids-Tjensten" and the Dutch called it "NAD" (Nederlandse Arbeids Dienst)
It's in one of my Bender books I think...(at home...)Last edited by NickG; 07-09-2012, 04:53 PM.

Yes, it's actually for "Arbeidsdienst voor Meisjes" (ADM) from the Netherlands.
You can find it with a colored plate at page 495 and actually in wear with two photographs at page 496 of "Headgear of Hitler's Germany", volume 5, which has been released about two months ago.
