Johnny I took all the pictures on auto. Canon Power Shot, I will go over the worst offenders and try again.

Obviously superb items, let down by poor photographs.

May I suggest taking a little time to shoot the garments outside in bright shade. I've found morning light is best.

Mike thank you for the suggestion, unfortunately my house does not have an enclosed fense. Living in a small town the news about my collecting interests, would instantly be a hot topic . My photography does not do justice , to the items from my collection: That I wanted to share with the forum members.

We can work with what we have, it looks like a very nice set. Is it all to the same man? You said he wanted to wear and officers quality tunic? He may have been a NCO and later a Lt. D.R., this happened quite often later in the War with casualties mounting and less time to train new officers from recruits.

I know what you mean preferring to keep your collection a private matter.

It's a very smart set. One thing of interest is the lack of award loops on the officer's tunic.

Are both jackets named to the same man?

I did not mean to give the impression that , all the items are a set . But rather the NCO wanted officer quality for his Waffenrock. The tunic has award loops for three medals , but it does not have loops for a ribbon bar.
