    Are these German army pants/trousers?

    Hello forum

found these with some other WWII items... and thought they might be German?

there is an ink stamp to the interior, and the word Prima on the metal buckle.

I thought it might be Russian, perhaps?

    thanks for the help Robert

The reenforced knee pads with the pointy tops are indeed typical Russian...
The hardware does look German...Interesting combination!
Russian made style with captured German materials!

            Regarding the stamp Beha:
The Beha GmbH in Berlin-Lichtenberg was founded in 1928 by the two (independent) Peek & Cloppenburg manufacturers Berlin and Hamburg. Beha was taken over by the Soviet Military Administration in autumn 1945 and stayed under its control until 1946. From 1946 to 1948 Beha was under control of the Berlin-Lichtenberg district department und was united in this time with 17 other clothing manufacturers under the new name "Bekleidungswerke Fortschritt GmbH", which became "VEB Bekleidungswerke Fortschritt" in 1949...

So post war made (1945-1948 period) by this German factory (for USSR occupation army) per Russian specs is my explanation!

              Hello Nick

              hope all is well.

thanks for the info. Interesting history... but... I assume it's not worth much in this case. $25 to $50?

              Robert
