I have a equal pair of collar tabs in the rank of "Oberförster" - but I can´t post any pics.

But I am stil wondering, what this gold piping around meens..

Inside the regulations for military forestry is nothing to find.

You are correct, I misread the text. I also do not now understand the gold piping on the collar tabs. They are obviously original, but what rank could they represent?

A very nice tab: "Anwärter des höheren Dienstes" - worn without shoulderbords.

Black for military forestry: Heer- and Luftwaffen-forestry service.
