Fantastic, those are very attractive and no doubt virtually unobtainable.

Black as colour for collar tabs and shoulder boards is generally for military-forestry (Luftwaffen- and Heeresforst).

But: I dont know what this gold piping around meens.

For sure: its a "Forstmeister" (not a "Oberlandforstmeister" or something else.

For the Luftwaffe rank of oberlandforstmeister, the full embroidery and piping is in gold. For Heer, the embroidery is in silver and piping in gold.

Please review the Angolia and Schlicht references on Heer and Luftwaffe, volumes II in each series. You will find the confirmation there.

Sorry to say, but Klute0007 is right. Silver oakleaf embroidery in all four corners and one in the center is for Forstamtmann or Forstmeister (not Oberlandforstmeister).I have just checked the 1938/39 dress regulation for LW forestry and Heer forestry. Both have silver embroidery and silver cord around.
Oberlandforstmeister had gold embroidery and cord.

Forestry is not a very popular field and even reputated authors made mistakes. ( I know about another author describing the headband and brim edge as being of Seidenrips ( a special woven silk), but all originals have these made of cloth and the regulation as well say cloth).
Best is to have the regulation by hand to see what was written.

                            Regards

according to Angolia/Schlicht -Band 1 - Das Heer- (german edition) page 367
