              Nice!!!
Aren't the straps the longer version for the Mantel?

Excellent with just the right amount of wear and patina!

Those kind of tunics are like old-master paintings; every aspect a sight to see.

(did it come with the Reiterabzeichen?)

                          tunic

A great example to show how Waffenfarbe-piped collar tabs often have a lighter color green center stripe, not the dark green found on repros.

These are the second type of the two early RH/WH patterns. These were manufactured from 1936 until 1938 and continued to be worn. In 1938, tabs with dark green centers and branch piping were introduced and manufactured until mid-1940. Most the repors dfo have dark green centers but also there are many original made with grak green centers.

Very nice early tunic, if the jacket was worn would the straps pull taught to the loops?

                              Johnny,

that could be an explanation for the lenght of the straps.

I would love to own this tunic! Pre-war uniforms are indeed the most beautiful.
