IMO, Original basic jacket with insignia added post war (reproduction AG litzen).

Have the internal "draw tapes" been removed?

            Glenn,
the wrap in #13 is the naked colar one i use for display various colar tabs in different configurations, the colar tabs are not even stiched on it.
so this wrap is certainly not "untouched", althought original.
btw, the piping material (wool) is different from the corded material used for piping on ccj colar tabs.

lots of fakes are made like this one.

Ere are so many variations so I wonder how mine is doubted when it's absolutely legit.

Oh well, I have no doubt or I wouldn't have kept it.

Thank you for all the input. It is much appreciated. I am looking for an untouched wrap. My concern was the collar tab and lichen.Jacques

I didn't mean all are original. I haven't touched them to know, I just saw photos. Just saying that these tabs are not unknown to be seen on tunics. Odd that it's thought the wrap was stripped as it wasn't. But it's ok.

I don't believe them to be original though, and they have been applied post war along with the eagle to a stripped original AG wrapper.

This wrap would not have been issued with these tabs; and I can't say I really like them.

Wrap itself is original IMO, but I would not mind better quality photo's.

Are the bottom ones the later dark red Nebeltruppe or dark artillery? Tabs are tough if they have original materials and are sewn on. The backs are usually the easiest way for me to tell but I know some of you guys also can spot them from the front. In this case to me the tab aplication looks recent and the tabs are not showing age as the rest of the jacket etc. That is not always a indicator of a modern replacement but for me as wrapper laity is a red flag.

I guess the age and wear don't show in photos. Took outside. I know the eagle is original and fell strongly te tabs are to.
