    I have seen this blitz but not with this kind of backing,is this original wartime??

    No problem, you can find them with all kinds of backings: cloth, paper, mesh (like this one) or none backing at all.

      nice looking original. Backing as DMV said is all over the place. The embroidery is right on n materials are all period. Matt
