    House-of-History fake shoulderboards

    Hello All,

I am in a way asking your opinions on these shoulderboards I bought from the House-of-history. I have no previous expirience with this shop, but what I recieved is CLEARLY REPRODUCTIONS

I bought these EM shoulderstraps medical, they have cardboard (!!) inside, and the stiching is really hilarious.!!.

Many original tailor made straps do have cardboard inside. I don't know if those are reproductions or just poorly executed period private made straps - In any case not typical or desirable.

However, the second pair, the Unteroffizier Straps are period made, IMO.

I agree on the cardboard. After the War started many types of boards had paper or cardboard inserts, especially tailor-made examples with non-standard piping and materials. That alone does not kill them.

Hello all and thanks for the input.

I have discussed with the seller, and he claims that they are late-war.

I never saw any boards like these, so maybe he is right.
