Heer M42 tropical tunic..lovely worn

Yesterday, I had the chance to buy this jacket to a very old collectors,
Nothing special except I fell in love for this one...
Tropical tunics are easy to find in mint condition or reapplied, this one was clearly field worn and untouched, including belt hook....a nice piece IMO.

I would also love to see the straps if you get a chance but the tunic body and insignia application look 100% from what I can see.

Hello Mark (X2) and Mike,

Here some views of the eagle front and back,
This one is sewn with the same thread used for the main part of the jacket assembly, machine sewn except the hand sewn round part.
The boards match perfectly to the jacket, the rayon piping is textbook, the keyholes are clearly unusual, but this detail alone doesn't disturb me.
Unfortunatly, size and depot marking are no more readable.

Exactly what I had hoped to see in regards to the eagles sewing and stitch condition. I'd be happy with the tunic, too
The straps are certainly not 'typical'...
