Is this tunic original?

I am not 100% sure this is original, and the listing says that it is. Is this item original or reproduction?

The tunic is authentic but the upper pockets have been replaced. Hard to tell if all the insignia are period attached due to the poor quality of the pictures. Without an eagle and the overall condition I would say that the reserve price is fare market value of the item.

The tunic seems original, but I'm not to sure about those replaced pockets.. something sets me off.. Maybe its hidden in the scalloping...

Yes, they do look rather odd don't they, like it was one giant stamp with the maker name and the depot date etc.

Probably an original jacket that was dolled up post war,new insignia added,possibly the pockets added as the others were removed,markings added as the original stamps were probably faded out.



You know,to make it more saleable.
