    Wehrmacht Heer Overcoat with Hood

I've been offered this what I take to be a period Heer Overcoat with hood. I've looked it over, its a bit grubby but free of moth holes. I looked at the stamp can't read the year stamp. One thing that bothers me is the lining - can't remember seeing this type before, however I think its the real thing, but a little unsure and afraid I may passed a NVA overcoat what do members think? I'd be obliged if they could tell me what style it is. Any information appreciated.
    Regards

aboslutely nothing to worry about. this type of liner was period made and used ( in most cases with gabardine overcoats ). nice and original wachtmantel.

Text book guard coat (wachmantel) late war! Agreed nothing to worry about!
I have the SS version of this one with blanket liner (those lack French cuffs)

Only reason you should call it m44( or M43) is the HOOD not collar cause Wachtmantel's had from begining big collars and that has nothing to with M44 overcoats .
