Certainly the application of the piping is poor but im not convinced the pipining itself is bad.I posted a recon tab a long while ago and it passed muster with exactly the same piping.

At best the tab is a put together.

Ill find that thread.

the piping could be original ,it just looks strange because they stretched it to its limit putting the tab together the piping could have come off an original board and the guy didn't have enough material

Hi Lenny,

This type of rarer piping is covered in quite a few threads and is referred to as "Basket weave".Its used in shoulder boards as well as you mentioned.

This type is most probaly reproduced by now but what wrecks the credibility of the above example is the forced nature of its application.

At best and most probaly a put together Frankenstein tab.
