The AG wrap, the one Alex is showing is an officer upgrade.

Sir, I need to be mindful. It has been submitted as a candidate for an upcoming book; and although I do not know if it will be pass muster with the author, if it is accepted, I would hate to “steal his thunder”.
            But OK.

Wonderful Bryon,I thought Alex might like to see how it left the factory.

A great candidate for that book I am sure and my thanks for showing.

                      Thanks for these photos !!!

and here are photos of my jacket - we can tell it's a twin brother
from the same year production, the same factory (identical RBNr)
the same collar tabs style, ugly eagle sewn, size stamps etc...

I still love my jacket (specially I found in it a nice SS tab http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=562266)

as I love jacket wich B.N.Singer shows

one more thanks for showing these photos

                      here is mine

                            interesting thread.
so we have 3 differents wraps from the same maker (identical rbnr) made in 1944, all of them sharing some particular manufacturing caracteristics ?

                              Stug Wrapper

Here is a shot of the 'tape channel' on mine. It has a faint Lago Wien MM, pretty washed out. Dave.
