    German Drillich, RBNr, WH?

    Hi,

I`ve never seen this pattern, it shows typical TR manufacturing of the button holes, the fabric, collar backside, ...

And on the inner pocket is a stamp, which I believe is a Kammerstempel with RBNr.

    Any idea?

    Thanks for help!

the buttons are sewn, not fixed with "S"-rings, and the buttons are buried, and no traces of insignia

It is Luftwaffe. They re-dyed it for field use no doubt. Not uncommon. Buttons are not the type normally found on these. Dave.

you are right, gents, I found some on the web now.

When did they used this pattern? Mine must be made after 1942, due to the RBNr.

You think it has been dyed? Doesn't looks like, the thread is still white, and the liner is still gray.

logicaly, if dyed, rbnr and size stamps should have been invisible.
and around armpit, lining's color doesn't look altered on avaible pics.
