Question about Beamter auf Kriegsdauer (wartime officials) insignia.....

Hi,

i recently bought a pair of Beamter a.K. tabs with a blue grey base material. (they came with a matching pair of boards too)
When compared to a pair that i already had in my collection, there is a big difference in the base colour.
According to Angolia, the the tabs should be grey instead of white, but when checking the internet and forums the white version seems very common while the grey version is pretty rare.

My main question is, aber both tabs for Beamter a.K. or has the white or grey base colour another meaning?

No the color of the backing had no specific meaning. My versions go from a darker gray than yours to a very light mouse grey.

Those are very nice examples of the Medium/Elevated career tabs.

I agree, there is variation in the "Dove Grey" color from dark grey to light grey.
