    FHQ cuff title

    Hello,

I just got a very nice FHQ grouping, the cuff title was the only cloth item in the group and I love it first sight

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

                Alex,

I have seen the snap on CT's for FHQ and FBB before, but the way the CT seam was reverse sewn, and then a nice little anti fraying cover put over the seam...the absolute German tailor's extra mile, but not overdone.

                  Hello Richard,

I agree, the tailor who put this cuff title together wanted to make sure it's properly done to the highest standards .... 14 snap's on a cuff title

Imagine what the tailor must have thought when he read the title "Führerhauptquartier". He surely wanted to do his job most perfect this time....

                          Very nice cufftitle!
But does this cufftitle also exist in silver?
The reason why I ask is that I saw exactly the same one (same construction) on a tunic from Oct. 1939 recently. It looked pretty good and original to the tunic.
I hope the cufftitle experts can help me out
                          Cheers

                              Hello Dave,

I'm certainly not an expert but I've read that the silver embroidered cuff replaced the gold embroidered cuff.

In other words, the gold ones are the early cuffs, the silver ones are the late ones.
