    aguilettes

    hi guys ,
can somebody please tell me the difference between the aguilettes ?
i know the big one is for officers ,but i also know of 2 others ,one is for an Adjutant but there is also another one that i have . in only 1 book i saw it described as a Reichswehr-example for officers...
i also have a period picture that shows it (because some people told me this one is not ww2...)
the adjutant's has the metal "drops" at the end of the cords ,mine has not and they where never attached ! also it is worn in a different way . the adjutant's loops around the big "cord" ,mine loops around the small cord .
i hope you understand my explanation !
    thanks in advance ,Jo.

This book has everything on them:

Aiguilettes of the Third Reich by Wilhelm Saris

I have the book and by memory it's indeed the old pattern officers aguilettes... (I have the same)
