    Shoulder button kompanie numbers

    Hello,
    I have a question about the german shoulder buttons with kompanie numbers that held the shoulder boards to the uniform. What numbers existed?

    I got several from afriend that dug them out over the years, some of my uniforms have them and I always wondered how many there existed.

    Are there perhaps overvieuw images of the types that existed?

    I believe Heer shoulder buttons were numbered 1-16 but be aware that SS-VT units used similar company numbered buttons which I have seen numbered into the 20s (3 battalions of eight companies each, 1-24?).

      Greetings All,

      The HJ used them also. Political buttons are usually rzm marked on the back. I have some in the 30's.
