Which one to keep

Greetings: I've just come across 2 breast eagles and decided to sell one. Being insignia is not my main field of collecting in TR ,I am not sure which one would be the best example to keep for my collection. The early pattern one or the one still attached to originl material .All opinions and advice greatly appreciated.

Keep the top one for sure, ..., and I vote that the bottom one is fake...but that's just my opinion...
