DAK tunic collection lost/stolen in mail

    DAK tunic collection lost/stolen in mail

    Guys,
    Please keep an eye for the following items which went missing after arriving in New York way back in October of 2011 from Germany via DHL to USPS. Collection includes:
    1) POW suitcase with labels on the outside
    2) 1st pattern bleached & distinctly stained tropical Heer tunic
    3) covered canteen & bread bag
    4) photos, etc.
    If a dealer or seller is offering them for sale, please let me know as they are stolen items. Thank you.

            What a Bummer! That Tunic Speaks LOUDLY! it all should beeasy to ID.
            Keep your eyes peeled on sites like Craigslist etc...
            I hope it all turns up!

                      I have had long lasting experiences with parcel delivery as well,...just when I gave up hope it arrived! Perhaps it is still stuck with customs somewhere?.. Although I'm sure you have already done your part, pulling some extra strings might help....? General service is lousy IMO.

                        It seems that it's real plague last months with those stolen/lost items in US! One package I have sent to member here have been lost in sort facility ! Other package sent by friend of mine who live in US was also lost in US ( never arrive to me ) ! It seems that something wrong is happen with US Post service !

                          Thanks everyone for keeping an eye out. I have placed numerous calls to Customs, DHL, USPS, etc. The local Post Office Supervisor told me yesterday that it was probably stolen by a postal employee who saw the contents and values written on the custom label....his words, not mine. I will try to keep a positive outlook that maybe it will show up one day but right now I am trying to get the seller to refund my money as he didn't insure the package as we agreed upon. I recommend only using Fedex for anything high in value and especially overseas.

                            I recently had an expensive item lost at a sort facility here in the U.S. for 3 weeks before someone intervened on my behalf. Fedex only from now on

                              Sadly Postal inspectors are so overloaded they only can really focus on the major cases etc. and do not investigate smaller claims. I would watch EBAY. The most likely event will be that It probably will be sold to someone who will resell it not knowing it is stolen. Sorry.
