    I judge the boards alone.
Rayon piping seems incorrect, odd button holes, odd shape of the tongue and lining??....not late war for me, field-made in the best case, but I am not really optimist.
In my opinion, the shoulder boards are exactly the same published in the Scott book. Really the picture has been burned by flash and hide the details. About the piping, I have not problem with. Why do you think is wrong? The construction are not perfect but could be correct. The lining is not the usualy found in the sb but is not rare to found diferent and extrage lining materials at the end of war. I don't look beautiful (I prefer early ones) but I think they could be perfectly originals. I is just my opinion.

Victor, sin problemas. Y viniendo de donde vienen...menos!

        I made my compare too

Schoulderboards of the book are from a different angle thats why we can see some parts of material wich are not seen in other photos.

Look at tresso, corner and GD cypher angle. The same.

I would say they are the same as well. I photograph a lot of artifacts etc. and even a tiny difference in lighting etc. can really make the same items look very different. That is compounded by photoshop editing etc. prior to printing etc.

Nice boards. The cufftitle variation that he wore on his service tunic is very interesting.......and one that was considered a fake by many or most collectors until SP latest work came out.

Thank you very much to all.
I said that the boards were the same and is clear that is true.
Also that came from Roger and also is true. Scott gave me the chance to get them and I have to thank him.
Scott Prittchett is one on the greatest colectors that I do know and a real gentleman and I dont understand why some people use a Simple GD boards thread for have some bad words to him.
Simply, if anyone knows of GD, is Scott. He got the boards together with many Roger items, directly from him and is known the great friendship between Scott and Hans. Hans Roger identified his uniform...including the boards...being with Scott in Germany...and is a long story!...many photos at his books...
Boards are real and is real that Belonged to GD RKtrager Hans Roger.
                          Thanks again!
                          Vic.

I totally agree with this...bad photos can make an original item appear fake, and vice versa.
