IMO infantry/signal but on this jacket I see the mess.
This is not standart drill HEER tunic.

They sometimes added wool collars like this but most often you only see that with NCOs and Officers. Did they add French cuffs? The tabs, ribbon and eagle probably are post War applied.

The tabs are KM Coastal Artillery which poses more questions.

Just an observation but,,,don't the lack of the chest darts and stitching arc above the those pockets appear to be an unconventional design constrction?I've normally only seen the square cut chest pockets on the later models???

The shoulder seams are odd too, better pictures of details and the interior would help to figure out if it is original and or what is going on, it may have been tailored or altered if real.

Can you tell if there was something stitched on the inside that was removed in the back and on both sides at the about the waist level- between the where the arrows are pointing?

I am getting off line now but if it has the seam removed and does not have factory cut holes for belt ramps it is most likely a heavily modified (Looks like it was taken apart, recut and reassembled to fit like an issue tunic) and altered two pocket Drillich tunic made into a four pocket light weight tunic-

You posted the new image when I posted, I can see a line there so it looks like it was made from a work tunic, probably early in the War. It is patterned after the 1st pattern HBT which began to be issued in early 1940 but demand could not be met so "copies" were made from what they had. That is why the pockets are odd and there are no chest darts.
