Soldier's Bust

Not sure if this is the best forum, but I've not seen another soldier's bust made in exactly this style. There's something odd about it. Is this one of a new crop of known repros? It's 9.5" tall, made of spelter (low grade metal) which has a copper colored plating, very heavy, with what looks like honest wear. Has a threaded attachment plate on the base for mounting to a marble base. Anyone have any information?

Could you show us the base?

It looks like recasting of a genuine soldier bust that was mounted on a marble base but I could be wrong.
