I actually posted this before sometime back on the Awards thread. However the pictures weren't all that good. Since then I got a new camera and have been practicing taking pictures of some of my smaller items.While not as good as some of those on the Awards section its certainly a major step in quality for me ha,ha.
Anyway what we have here is a late war (1945) token given to members of the mule trains (I'm guessing) supporting the 100th Mountain Regiment 5th Mountain Division in the Italian Alps. Whats interesting is despite its late war manufacture its made from 800 Silver!
This is one of 6 or 7 tokens that came from the estate of a GJ Officer.If anyones interested I'll reshoot the rest and post them too.
