More info on this please

I found this, i would like some help to identify it, and/or if it's genuine.
It feels like satin or silk, and it's slightly glossy/satin looking.
I don't know if it's an original or a fake.
Please some help.

I think it is safe to assume it is fake...unless it's a table top decoration, Try posting this in the Flags, Banners, and Standards Forum for responses.

Is the size app. 10 x7 cm? Looks like the "souvenirs" you could buy at italian tourist spots like Pisa. Have seen them there 20+ years ago.

It could be a toy as well or from and older model kit etc. Depends on the size?

Thank you all for your responses.
It was my tought to that it was a fake, but the person who gave it to me told it was an original. So he was told.
And the size is indeed app. 10x7 cm.
About 9,6x6,5 cm.
