Any idea what kind of uniform this is?

I just picked these 2 suits up at flea market today. The remind me of a pilot suit, kind of heavy, but they are green and have buttons. PRYM marked snaps.
    Any ideas? Thanks!

Nice and even a 1930's dated tag...so prewar for sure! and both mint!
The last digit would be filled in with ink! (193.) Certainly authentic German made
and quite possibly LW related !

Lot better then what you would have seen in St. Paul if you had gone you would have missed them! Where did you find them? It always amazes me what is in an around the Milwaukee area.

Got them at the Cedarburg flea market, which used to be a goldmine, but now normally a bust for militaria, but always nice fall drive (and beer and Brats)
they were hanging on the dealers van...

I can't even tell you with a straight face what I paid...

Yes, that is a nice town and lots of goodies, what did he refer to them as "Painters coveralls" ? Someone probably brought them home to use for hunting etc. They look mint.

He told me after I bought them that the guy brought them back from WWII. he even thought they may have been WW1 pilot uniforms, so he knew they were something.

Neat, they are patterned like early flight clothing. The WWI 1917 German Flyer coveralls are very similar. Nice catch

Extremely nice Jerry...want to double your money? Cash? Ha ha ha...congratulations, who would have thought FJ...except the FJ guys. They look like hundreds of early flight suits I have handled so I might have really messed up if I found them.

Buy something nice for your wife with the profit so she lets you stay in the hunt...or yourself if she is already cool with it.

That is really the cool thing about the WAF, there is more than several lifetimes of knowledge here!

As for my wife, these were two different sizes, so I asked her if she wanted one for her and one for me, but she declined So all for me!

She is a sweetheart though, puts up with all of this stuff, the shop and the endless hours here, so I'll do something nice.
