IMO an east german jacket. Maybe the eagle has a chance? I don't know but even if it was an original there would more than likely been an officers eagle.

I don't care for the tunic but I am an insignia collector so what do I know. I like the second pattern flatwire eagle and the collar tabs. I do not like the boards.

Are you guys sure it is East German? I thought the early West German ones still had the cuffs and green collar. Anyway, post war for sure.
