    Wh or BW Shirt?

    Hello all,
would apreciate your opinion if it´s warmade or postwar piece...I really don´t know what I should think about it.

Thank you very much for your time.

          The same one is here:

          http://ww2militariacollection.blogspot.com

Go to: Search the archive, type: Shirt

unfortunately the one from link is NOT the same as yours. Your is WOOL shirt ( typical for Italian shirts ) and the one from link is COTTON ( typical for germans shirt ). The construction is also bite other .

other think is that german II WW shirts cuffs were closed with 2 buttons instead of one.

As far as I know there were both versions existing.

Are these ribbed wool shirts exclusively Italian then?

                Did German troops wear them?

Cuffs on German textbook shirts are close by 2 buttons. I've seen few which were closed by just one but these MIGHT have chance.

Shirt which started this thread is Italian for sure and yes these were issued by Germans during late stage of WW2 same as other Italian items. Rare item in nice condition, congrats
