    Interesting insignia at museum in France

    Here some images of the recreated "tailor's store window" at the
    "Musée Historique de la Seconde Guerre Mondiale d'Ambleteuse" (France)
    which my brother just visited!

            The piping of these straps look like that you find on typical fakes to me.

                    Some items might be questionable but its a pretty nead display overall
                    and interesting to study the material.
                    There was a thread in another section of WAF on this treasure trove but the images got removed...
                    thought it would be neat to show here for the uniform and insignia aficionados!

                            Thats also the case of all the museums I have visited here in Germany (including back stage). Often a mixture of really nice and rare stuff and fakes. You have always to be careful with taking museum stuff as reference.
