Story is that there was a big hort found in souther Germany some years ago wit lots of unissued panzer tabs and also such skulls. I do consider that pattern as original but I suppose it was made in the last stage of the war and saw no action anymore (I have never seen that skull with the 2 stamped prongs on a wrap).
