The original issue EM collar litzen are still underneath the officer tabs. For the picture I loosely placed an officer breast eagle on the exact spot were originally one has been stitched on top of the factory sewn EM eagle!

I love this thread and always remember seeing WH vets wearing stripped issue items in the 1980s going out to plant cabbage on tractors driving past our base. There are some nice tunics here but many of these heavily worn items are not battle worn but rather probably were used planting potatoes in the 50s and 60s. Wear does not mean battle use. Many of these tunics were worn as work clothing and by POWS into the late 1950s or later.

I dont like M44 tunics, but this one...wow....im speechless!
Picked up this one not long ago. It was filthy with some white paint spots all over so I carefully washed it recently. Need a couple of buttons to complete.
