I bought a foot locker and there were many things stored inside. This is one of them Is this tag wartime? nice leather but probably a private purchase as there are no shoulderboard attachments.

The soldier was 11th armored but the foot locker was a younger relative who served marines post war. I posted a helmet also from this same group.

I can't say if the tag is wartime,but they were a wartime manufacturer and they are still in business from what I read.I have a blue one with a similar tag.It does not have provision for shoulderboards either.

Certainly not military...besides it lacking provisions for shoulder boards,
it has a "T-back", it lacks french cuffs, wrong color and most likely also no slit or suspension strap for dagger hanger...
Could be 1940's, 50's, 60's civilian...hard to date...
