      Nice picture of Günter Viezenz. Some sources gives him 21 kills, according to others Viezenz himself confirmed 7 kills in a letter to Manfred Dörr.

                He ended the war with I think 21 tank kills to his name.... 1 says alot about a man but when you hit 2 or 2 let a lone that many you are in a league of very few. I always thought my tunic with 2 TDBs was wild but I can't fathom a tunic with that many! Matt

                        The postcard is not uncommon, it would have been a "promo" postcard to sign and give out, if you want to see another look on wilipedia, under Gunther Viezenz. Also signed but in a different place - which is reassuring, looks like the same pen.

                            No one doubts this guys élan but those awards are highly conspicuous - and not to be worn in the act of earning another, IMO.
