    PZ Waffenrock Gepruft???

    Hi y'all.

    Any chance someone can decipher this regimental gepruft, No other markings or tags present. Would really like to reestablish the lineage to this tunic.

    I'm going to be breaking down the collection and putting it in storage for the next 2 years preceeding my new assignment to the 82nd ABN DIV next month. As I do so I will take some pictures for my archive and will post some of the collection while at it thoughout the month.

    Your replies are most welcomed and deeply appreciated, thank you!

            Gepruft markings;

            Hi Ray,
            That is a tough one to read. Have you tried looking & photoing it at an angle? It may show better then straight on. That is a great looking group and breast eagle. I really like the wire emroider pattern of the bird's body. Dirk

              I see what may be "3/Pz. Abw or Abt."? under "Gepruft" the ink always blurs with this type of lining. Nice set

                Thats what I had been leaning at "3" or "5" PZ

                Thanks for the comments all?

                  I am pretty sure it is a "3", the top arm goes sharp right and than to the left flat. Did you look in the vent pockets for a name tag?

                    Absolutly no name tag. I guess i'm going to look up what division and campaigns are realated to this organization. Any other significant info or events of this organization if known would be appreciated.

                    Thanks again,

                      Beautiful group and I especially like the breast eagle, that's general officer quality embroidery. Congratulations!
